Another great day in paradise
The weather here has been perfect since I got here. A little bit of rain here and there, but almost all sunshine and temperatures around 80F.
I taught my second round of classes this week and so far, all seems to be going well. A few of my Australian colleagues mentioned that the students were "raving" about class. OF COURSE my response was, "they were raving what, lunatics?" The humor was somewhat lost on them as they were hoping the relaying of the students' responses would give me a boost, which it did, it's just uncomfortable to hear that type of thing. Anyway, finished teaching class today and went for a stroll around campus and took a few photos. If interested in seeing them, go to: http://photos.yahoo.com/ed_roth and then click on the Australia album.
Man I miss Karen and the kids - sometimes so bad the only way to deal with it is to just not think about it. 57 days and counting.
